My 6 month old loves this book. And believe me, she knows what she likes. It's the first book this very busy baby has actually listened to the whole way through. When we give her options between this book and others she chooses it. Each page turn gets an excited baby scream. I'm looking forward to having conversations about the content as she gets older...and thanks to this book I'll know where to start.
This is a great summary of the principles of anti-racism that is great for any adults who want to have a basic review guide of Kendi’s ‘How to be Antiracist’. The baby board-book format is cute, but it isn’t really a children’s book. The words and concepts are too high-level and abstract. It’s a good discussion starter to introduce the ideas to kids maybe 5+. Still a good addition to any social-justice library.
