She researches biodiversity documentation and systematic ichthyology in the Tropics. and received her PhD from King's College London in Ichthyology (study of fish) and is on the advisory board of National Geographic. In addition, she is a member of the National Council of World Wildlife Fund and dedicated her life to the discovery and conservation of ocean life.

She received her Masters from Oxford University in Zoology/Animal Biology & her PhD from Georgia Institute for Technology in Experimental Psychology.

Written by Dr. Coleman Sheehy III, he is the curator of the largest herpetological (study of reptiles) research collection in the U.S. at the Florida Museum of Natural History. He discovered a new species of snake from Ecuador in 2014, received his PhD from University of Texas at Arlington in Quantitative Biology and completed his post-doctoral research in Wildlife Ecology & Conservation through the University of Florida.
